Behavior Technician – Children with Autism (Full/Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and patient Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with autistic children under 5 years of age at our center. The ideal candidate will implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct support to help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one support to autistic children under 5
  • Collect and record behavioral data accurately
  • Assist in teaching communication, social, and play skills
  • Support positive behavior and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with therapy team and communicate with families

Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in working with autistic children
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed behavior plans
  • Willingness to learn ABA techniques

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Physical ability to engage actively with young children
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Hours and Compensation

  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience
  • Paid training provided – we will train you to sit for your RBT exam
  • Center-based position with consistent schedule

Prior experience working with autistic children is beneficial but not required.   This is an ideal entry level position for candidates looking to enter the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Early Intervention Assistant (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Intervention Assistant to work part-time with our team supporting young children with developmental delays or disabilities. This center-based position involves providing direct support to early intervention specialists and families to promote children’s development and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist early intervention specialists during therapy sessions
  • Support children in reaching developmental milestones
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with families and team members
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development

Qualifications

  • Comfort and experience working with toddlers
  • Knowledge of child development principles preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow intervention plans and take direction
  • Patience and enthusiasm for supporting young children

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to physically assist children as needed

Hours and Compensation

  • Part-time position, 15-25 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • Compensation: $18-$22/hr based on experience.
